Chapter 4.3. Share Responsibilities


Internally, to high management wants all its employees to focus on the following responsibilities:
•    To the company’s clients
•    To each other
•    To the company’s franchise

The idea is in putting clients first, to provide them with superior advice, products and services, and to act with the highest level of integrity.

Citigroup is asking itself to provide its employees with the best opportunities to realise their potential. People should treat their teammates with respect, acknowledge the diversity, and to share the responsibility for both successes and failures.

In the end, the company puts its long-term goals before the short-term gains of a particular unit by focusing in this way on shareholders’ values. Local cultures and circumstances of doing business in a specific country should be honoured and respected as well as preservation of the legacy for the next generations.
