Chapter 2.2. Corporate and Investment Banking Group


The Corporate and Investment Banking Group operates in nearly 100 countries, or practically every second country in the world. It serves a variety of business customers such as private and state-owned companies, governments, and institutional investors.

The Global Banking unit offers strategic and financial advisory services including mergers and acquisitions, financial restructurings, divestitures, foreign exchange, cash and tax management, loan structuring, underwriting and distributing equity, debt, and derivative securities.

The Global Markets unit is a global leader in underwriting, structuring, sales, and trading across practically all assets, among others, equities, corporate and government bonds, asset-backed and mortgage-backed securities, syndicated loans, structured and futures products.

The Transaction Services unit provides cash management, treasury, trade finance, custody, clearing, depository receipt, agency trust services, and fund services to corporations, governments, and financial institutions, which have assets and business in multiple countries and require integrated management and reporting.
