Chapter 2.4. Citigroup Alternative Investments
The Citigroup Alternative Investments unit is an integrated alternative investments platform that manages a wide range of products across five asset classes including private equity, hedge funds, real estate, structured products and managed futures. It manages capital on behalf of Citigroup, as well as third-party institutional and high net worth investors. Its goal is to enable its 14 investment centres, concentrating around private equity, hedge funds, real estate, structured products, and managed futures, to retain the entrepreneurial qualities required to capitalise on evolving opportunities, while benefiting from the intellectual, operational and financial resources of Citigroup.
